Rainbow Six Siege – The Competitive Edge

The popularization of titles like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (coincidentally, also released in 2007), has given way to the more “modern” shooter that will allow you to take bullets to the chest, hide behind some barrels and then regain all your life back only to find yourself throwing a plethora of futuristic assault weapons to the face of the closest enemy, which in real terms, probably costs the same amount in real money as the GDP of a small European country.
Sadly, this is what shooters became and why? Is it because our attention span is just remarkably smaller these days or is there more profit to be made off of “easy” shooters. I say “easy” because that’s what they are in comparison to something like Rainbow Six Siege. Mindless, forward-marching shooters where the one with the fastest reactions or luckiest recoil shot will win.

KOTAKU PREVIEW

Rainbow Six: Siege doesn’t have a campaign, but its ‘Situations’ are just as good - if not better.
By Julian Benson on 23 Oct 2015

The Situations are not the main reason to buy Rainbow Six: Siege. If you don’t like the sound of the multiplayer focus, then there’s not currently enough to the singleplayer to justify buying the game. However, the Situations are so much better than they need to be, which is a really pleasant surprise.

Ubisoft Hacks In, New Screenshots of W_D Released

Attention all PSLS readers, today we have been hacked by the notorious group known as Ubisoft. Thankfully, our crack staff of tech monkeys led by Sebastian stopped the hack, but not before they implanted six brand new screenshots of their upcoming game Watch Dogs on our server. Check them out below while we figure out just how they got in.

In the screenshots, the main character Aiden Pearce is introduced to Clara Lille, a lady who, like our main character, uses questionable methods to get the job done. We also get a good look at the phone hacking system in the game, some good old fashion street violence, and a car chase.

FAR CRY 3: Pacific Airport Shots

Far Cry 3 is set on a tropical island between the Indian and Pacific Oceans.[7] After a vacation goes awry, protagonist Jason Brody must save his friends, who have been kidnapped by pirates and escape from the island and its unhinged inhabitants.

The third installment in the Far Cry series, Far Cry 3 was critically acclaimed upon release, with reviewers praising its world design, open-ended gameplay and story, while the game's multiplayer mode was criticized. Following the game's success, Ubisoft announced a successor, Far Cry 4.

ASSASSIN'S CREED II - FORLI Map Shots

Assassin’s Creed 2 is a massive work of art (and effort!), and it shows, as evidenced by the opening disclaimer that several different religious beliefs and cultures were influenced while making the game. The attention to detail, from the architecture and the fashion to the language, is realistic and well thought of. A lot of the characters are actual people, such as Leonardo Di Vinci and Niccolò Machiavelli, whereas some are a work of fiction, which can be arguable about the Auditore family. What I’m going to explain in this guide is the parallel between fiction and reality, and what was real or just extreme coincidence. I’ll also go indepth to some of the nagging questions about what Subject 16 was going on about, and the meaning of the glyphs. Prepare thyself!
